Alex attributes his success in the real estate industry largely in part to his ability to successfully market homes for sale, along with his use of technology marketing to stay on the leading edge of his industry and his competition in both innovation and education. Alex makes consumer research, market insight, and marketing communications the center of all his strategies. Alex was raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Brian Copeland

Brian Copeland

Brian Copeland is a leading real estate professional based in Nashville, Tennessee. After over a decade as a large team-leader, Brian decided to go back to his roots as a small team, working with each buyer and seller individually alongside his son, Zach. Brian's clients only work with him, even on the administrative side. His customer-first mindset continues to place him in the top tier of sales production in Nashville's competitive marketplace, garnering him the highest REALTOR® sales award level, Diamond. Brian not only is a sales leader and industry influencer, he has given tirelessly in the Realtor leadership arena. In 2019, he served as the Vice President for Association of Affairs for the 1.6-million member National Association of Realtors. He was the 2017 President of Tennessee Realtors and President of Greater Nashville in 2021. He was chosen as Nashville’s Realtor of the Year in 2011, and Tennessee’s Realtor of the Year in 2022. He has appeared on numerous HGTV and The Learning Channel television shows and served as one of Facebook’s Global Community Leadership Council members. He has been one of the most sought after real estate speakers and consultants in the country, emceeing and keynoting some of the largest conferences in the industry. He has earned spots on T3’s Social Influencers Power List and Inman’s Most Influential List. He has represented Facebook on stage at their Marketing Week Executives’ Meeting in New York City and at the CMX Summit in Los Angeles. Brian founded and runs one of the largest technology camps in the nation each Spring in Nashville, attracting hundreds of real estate professionals from 30 states and three continents. Brian and his spouse live on a Nashville farm where they raise, cows, goats, and chickens. They have three children. He prides himself on being the agent you need him to be. It’s no secret that all people at all price levels should be treated the same in customer service. Relationships have become the most important thing for me in all he does. Whether you have a $200K condo you are trying to sell or a $2M lake property you’ve decided to move, both are equally important. One thing he's most proud of is finding my buyers their ideal home and taking it to contract on an average of ONLY FIVE DAYS! His secret is nothing profound. He simply listens and find them what they want. His goal as a buyer’s agent is to get the best deal possible. He has extensive experience in "highest and best" offers (aka bidding wars) which have become so common in Nashville (and he usually wins). Now, on the stuff that you may want to know. He was the emcee of CRS's national conference Sellabration for five years, until 2014. He served on the national CRS executive committee and the search committee for the CEO.

In episode two of our financial series, our hosts delve into the crucial topic of building generational wealth through real estate investments, offering expert insights and practical strategies for homebuyers eager to secure their financial future.
